September Networking Evening Recap: Business Succession & Community Growth

On September 26th, the Bulgarian Midwest Chamber of Commerce hosted a powerful networking event at the Българика – Bulgarica Cultural Center in Mount Prospect. The evening brought together entrepreneurs, professionals, and community members for meaningful dialogue, fresh connections, and practical business insights.

The central topic of the night — Business Succession Planning — was explored in depth by our guest speaker, Susan Dawson, Founding Partner at Navigant Law Group LLC. Susan delivered an engaging presentation on how business owners can safeguard their legacy, plan ahead for smooth transitions, and turn potential disruptions into growth opportunities. From long-term vision strategies to “In Case of Emergency” plans, her insights were both timely and actionable.
